Upcoming Screenings & Events at American Cinematheque | Fall 2022

Los Angeles is once again in the midst of Oscar Season! With high profile award hopefuls released every weekend it can sometimes be easy to lose track of our city’s incredible revival and repertory film screenings and events. From long lost and newly found 35MM prints to directors in person hosting viewings of their favorite movies, the New Beverly, The Hammer, The Academy Museum, and American Cinematheque (among several others), have great special events every night of the week. Below I’ve highlighted the American Cinematheque’s upcoming fall slate, which includes a Luis Buñuel Retrospective, A Whit Stillman series, a Luca Guadagnino tribute, an Elvis screening with a Q&A with director Baz Luhrmann, and so much more.
