For true Angelenos, summer really begins in autumn. October is when temperatures soar during the day, the sun seems to linger over the city, and then nightfall arrives a little earlier, bringing cooler temperatures, a welcome reprieve from the heat, and the chance to finally enjoy the many fall events and things to do around Los Angeles.
