Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber sell Malibu compound for $45 million
Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, businessman Rande Gerber, have sold their renovated compound in Malibu’s Encinal Bluffs area for $45 million, records show. The couple bought the three-plus acre estate and an adjacent parcel of about 2.75 acres in 2015 for a total of $50.5 million. The neighboring property was not included in the sale, which closed earlier this week.

Ryan Murphy Seeks Sale of Laguna Beach Compound
Television titan Ryan Murphy, one of Hollywood’s most influential movers and shakers who signed a mind-bending agreement to create content for Netflix in a deal widely reported to be valued at more than a quarter of a billion dollars, has decided to part ways with his long-time compound in Laguna Beach, Calif., listing the plushly contemporary property at $18.75 million. Much of the pedigreed furniture, world-class artworks and soignée objet that fill the compound’s two residences are available for purchase under a separate agreement.

Hot Property: Joey McIntyre bids adieu to his familiar L.A. block
Joey McIntyre won’t be hanging tough on this block anymore. The singer-songwriter of New Kids on the Block fame has sold his renovated home in historic Hancock Park for $5.84million. The traditional-style home, designed by architect Paul Williams, appears to have been in high demand. The property sold about two weeks after hitting the market for $41,000 over the asking price, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

Rooney Mara’s Hollywood Home Sells — to Kelly Osbourne?
Two-time Oscar-nominated actress Rooney Mara has sold her celeb-pedigreed mid-century residence above L.A.’s Bronson Canyon for almost $3.6 million, a notable bit above its final asking price of $3.45 million. The buyer appears in tax records as a whimsically named trust linked to property previously owned by rock ’n’ roll scion and television personality Kelly Osbourne. Designed by architect Phil Brown and built in 1963 on a not quite one-quarter-acre promontory near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with panoramic city views through walls of glass, the just over 2,300-square-foot residence has two modest bedrooms plus a den and two bathrooms with scrupulously preserved vintage tile work.

‘Moonlight’ star Mahershala Ali snaps up L.A. home with contemporary allure
Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali has signed on the dotted line in Northeast L.A., paying $2.05 million for a three-story contemporary home in the Mt. Washington neighborhood. The “Moonlight” star must’ve liked what he saw; he bought it for more than $250,000 over the asking price, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

Ellen DeGeneres Makes Off-Market Sale in Montecito
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi made an $11 million off-market deal to sell Rancho San Leandro, the smaller of their two multi-million dollar estates in the fire and mud slide ravaged but still tony and extravagantly pricey seaside community of Montecito, Calif., for $11 million. The couple, two of Hollywood’s most prolific buyers and sellers of high-end residential real estate, earned themselves an impressively hefty profit on the property they purchased only about eight months ago for $7.195 million and plugged in real estate yenta Yolanda Yakketeyyak swears the new owner is Tinder founder and chairman Sean Rad.

Game show host Wayne Brady makes a $2.65 million deal in Sherman Oaks
Game and talk show host Wayne Brady has sold a home in Sherman Oaks that he owned through a trust for $2.65 million. The updated house, built in 1954, features high-beamed ceilings, hardwood floors and a skylight-lit entry within 4,202 square feet of living space.

Selena Gomez seeks $2.8 million for refreshed Studio City home
Singer-actress Selena Gomez is looking to sell her Studio City home about a year after buying it, records show. The Colonial Traditional-style spot is listed for $2.799 million. Surrounded by towering privacy hedges, the one-story house is hidden from view. Through gates, a circular driveway approaches the home, which dates to 1951 and was recently renovated.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Actor Kevin McKidd Buys Sherman Oaks Home
According to a couple of well-connected snitches, including always spot-on Yolanda Yakketyyak, Scottish actor Kevin McKidd, whose proverbial showbiz break came in the 1996 cult favorite film “Trainspotting” and is nowadays widely known for his long-running role on “Grey’s Anatomy,” has splashed out a tetch more than $2.9 million for a family-sized residence on a pretty, tree-lined street in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Jim Belushi’s Brentwood estate now offered at a reduced size and price
After finding no takers at $38.5 million, actor-musician Jim Belushi has lowered the price for his Brentwood estate to $29.995 million. That’s a roughly 22% reduction for the Oscar Shamamian-designed home. The new price reflects a smaller estate; the property is now being offered without a second parcel of about half an acre. Whether the adjoining parcel is put up for sale is to be determined, according to sources with knowledge of the listing.

Former Brentwood estate of comedy great Garry Shandling is listed for $13 million
The longtime Brentwood estate of late comic and writer Garry Shandling is returning to market as a development opportunity for $13 million. The walled and gated estate centers on a 6,100-square-foot, Hacienda-style residence where Shandling had lived for more than two decades. It was also the setting for Shandling’s weekly pick-up basketball games, which attracted a host of famous comedy faces throughout the years. The current owners had planned to build their dream house on the park-like site, which they acquired two years ago from Shandling’s estate for $10.65 million, and have the required permits and approval to renovate and expand the current home to a nearly 9,000-square-foot structure. A slope survey of the lot indicates the potential for an even larger structure.

‘Dr. 90210’ gives posh Beverly Hills Post Office home a price lift
Plastic surgeon Roberto Rey, who starred in the reality show “Dr. 90210,” is looking for an offer for his Beverly Hills Post Office home. It’s on the market for $5.295 million, or $20,000 more than what it was listed for last year. Set behind gates on half an acre, the Mediterranean-style home opens to an interior with wrought iron details and chandeliers.

Designer Kim Gordon’s latest offering — a picture-perfect property with bohemian flair in Santa Monica — is listed for sale at $8.45 million. The stylish spot showcases all of Gordon’s usual touches: airy interiors, indoor-outdoor spaces, glass walls, architectural vibes. After a down-to-the-studs remodel, the home features vaulted ceilings, five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and nearly 4,600 square feet of space.

James Woods Continues Real Estate Selloff in Beverly Hills
James Woods, who has long maintained homes on both the West and East Coasts, listed one of his two remaining homes in Los Angeles, a mid-century ranch-style bungalow in the Beverly Crest neighborhood above Coldwater Canyon in the Beverly Hills Post Office area, with a $3.3 million asking price. Built in the mid-1950s and measuring in at approximately 2,200-square-feet with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the unassuming if hardly inexpensive residence was acquired by the two-time Oscar nominee and three-time Emmy winner just over three years ago in what appears to have been an off-market deal that recorded at $2.245 million.

Bob Hope’s Toluca Lake Estate Finally Sells—to Billionaire Ron Burkle
Bob Hope’s Toluca Lake, CA, estate has finally sold to someone who appreciates its legacy and has vowed to preserve it. The buyer is billionaire philanthropist and investor Ron Burkle, whose intention not to demolish Hope’s home earned him a sweet deal. The Bob and Dolores Hope Estate was originally listed in 2013 for $27.5 million, then reduced to $22 million, but Burkle purchased it for $15 million. Other developers had offered much more, but the Hope family wanted the home’s legacy preserved.

Candis Cayne Lists English Tudor Hillside Cottage in Glendale’s Adams Hill ‘Hood
Groundbreaking actress and entertainer Candis Cayne has her home in the bohemian, up-and-coming Adams Hill neighborhood in the southeastern foothills of Glendale, Calif., up for sale at $1.285 million. Cayne, a legendary drag performer before she blazed showbiz trails as the first transgender actress to portray a recurring transgender character on primetime TV in ABC’s “Dirty Sexy Money” and who more recently popped up on “Elementary” and portrayed the Fairy Queen on the third season of the fantasy drama series “The Magicians,” hopes to just about double her money on the property that last traded in late 2012 for $650,000. Perched remarkably high on a precipitous slope, it’s a long, thigh-burning and fanny-toning three flights up from the street level two-car garage to the front door of the imposing and ever-so-slightly spooky 1920s English Tudor Revival cottage that contains three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms plus a self-contained one-bedroom and one-bathroom guesthouse, all in 2,627 square-feet.

English singer-songwriter PJ Harvey stands to earn a small fortune on the sale of a sun-flooded, sunset-view condominium at the celebrity-stacked Sierra Towers building in West Hollywood California; The $2.975 million asking price is more than 4.5-times the $649,000 she paid for the high-floor aerie in early 2003.
