This Thanksgiving in Los Angeles, you may feel the need to get out of the house, leave your dishes clean and in their cabinets, cut the cooking stress, and go to a restaurant to be wined and dined. Go for it! You deserve it! Spend the day ice skating at Pershing Square, or hiking up to the Griffith Observatory, strolling through Descanso Gardens or catching one of Oscar season’s big films. Then check your coat and check into one of these fabulous LA restaurants for a Thanksgiving dinner to remember.

1 Pico at Shutters on the Beach, Santa Monica – There’s no better reason than Thanksgiving to visit the always beautiful Shutters on the Beach. On Thanksgiving Day, 1 Pico will offer a Thanksgiving feast for $105 a person. The menu includes Roasted Dill Shrimp and Spicy Carrot Ginger Harissa Soup; entrees like braised Wagyu beef short ribs and a pumpkin ravioli. Enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean as you dine all day.

33 Taps, Silverlake – For a more casual (and beer fueled!) Thanksgiving Day, check out 33 Taps in Silver Lake. Eat + Drink + Sports. The football game should kick off off at 1:30pm, followed by another game at 5:30. 33 Taps boasts 14 HD TVs and a rotating selection of 36 draft beers. Winos don’t worry, six different wines will be available as well. 33 Taps is offering an $18 prix fixe “Feast Mode,” which includes a dinner salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, a roasted turkey with brown butter stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce.

Akasha, Culver City – Dine in or take out, Akasha Richmond’s namesake restaurant is offering an awesome option for foodies. Their prix-fixe menu is priced at $75 for adults and $35 for children. Their take-out menu is perfect for those who want a restaurant meal in the comfort of their own homes. Check out the take-out menu here. Highlights include: chestnut, sage & herb stuffing $24 / serves 4-6. Yukon gold mashed potatoes (V) $20 / serves 4-6. Candied yams with orange, cinnamon, & palm sugar $22 / serves 4-6. And, of course, an oven-ready brined turkey & turkey stock (12-20 lbs.) $10 a pound / 1 ½ pounds per guest roasted cauliflower bisque with parsnip chips (V) $20 / serves 3-4.

Avec Nous, Beverly Hills – The chic Avec Nous at the Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills offers a contemporary take on the classic French bistro. On Thanksgiving between 11am and 10pm they’ll be hosting an a la carte dinner. Dishes include

The Belvedere, Beverly Hills – This longtime and luxe restaurant the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel will serve a family-style meal until 9pm. At $138 this is one of the pricier options on this list, but that price includes an unlimited amount of Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne! Executive Chef David Codney will offer his exquisite take on traditional holiday dishes, braised veal, pumpkin risotto, salt cod croquettes, seared New England scallops, roasted filet of beef, and roasted free willie bird range turkey.

Bouchon, Beverly Hills – Let Bouchon take care of the menu so you can focus on what’s most important this holiday. Bouchon’s dining room will host dinner service from 11am to 8pm for $95 per adult, $45 per child. Or gather at your home with their complete Thanksgiving menu to-go! Dishes include potage garbure, steak frites, risotto and a classic turkey dinner with stuffing, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry relish, and turkey gravy.

Boxwood, West Hollywood – For $85 per person, The London Hotel’s swanky Boxwood is offering a delectable Beef Wellington for two, or a three course meal that includes starters like lobster tortellini, clam chowder, and sweet crab toast. Entrees like acorn squash ravioli, black angus filet mignon, king salmon, and roasted organic turkey with sage stuffing. Finish your feast with English sticky toffee pudding, pumpkin pie, or a chocolate tart.

Café Gratitude, Downtown – Want a free Thanksgiving meal? And a vegan one, no less? Cafe Gratitude is the only restaurant on this list where that will be possible! At their downtown location, they will host a free holiday dinner from 11am to 3pm, or until the food runs out, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cut the cooking stress and enjoy time spent with family and friends. Their plant-based menu items include Red Lentil Holiday Loaf, Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes and Mushroom Gravy, Autumn Salad, and more. $25 dollar suggested donation. No one will be turned away.

Cafe Pinot, Downtown – Dine at Cafe Pinot’s gorgeous outdoor patio next to the historic Los Angeles Public Library for just $65 for adults and $29 for children ten and under. They will be serving a traditional turkey dinner with potato puree, chestnut stuffing, candied winter squash, brussels sprouts and pan gravy. For dessert, expect a pumpkin pie with bourbon, seasonal fruit and an all-spice crumble.

Cast at the Viceroy Santa Monica, Santa Monica – Gather with friends and family for a day to say thanks for all that you’re thankful for. Cast Restaurant’s annual Thanksgiving Day feast features those traditional favorites like slow roasted ham, candied garnet yams, traditional cranberry sauce and sweet pumpkin pie, and all that you enjoy most this time of year!

Culina at The Four Seasons Hotel, Beverly Hills – Culina’s all-day Thanksgiving Brunch returns at 11am all the way until 6pm. Throughout the day enjoy traditional fare such as carved roasted turkey, corn bread and roasted poblano stuffing and mashed potatoes. Indulge in breakfast offerings such as endless omelets, Belgian waffles and eggs benedict until 3pm. A special selection of our antipasti dishes, such as caprese salad and Chef Denis’ famous Montanara will be served after 3 pm. And save room for a feast of desserts created by Pastry Chef Federico Fernandez including our famous fresh doughnuts with DIY toppings, house made gelato and sorbet, and an array of home-style pies including pumpkin, pecan, and apple pie. $129 for adults; $65 for Children 5-12 Years; Complimentary, children 4 years & under.

Esterel, Beverly Grove – For Thanksgiving at Esterel, France will meet California. For $58 for adults and $30 for children, partake in their amazing Thanksgiving buffet mixing American and French cuisines. Dine surrounded by the endless summertime atmosphere of their Provence inspired dining room and flowery French garden patio. Guests will dine on items like short ribs, poached steelhead salmon, sherry glazed cremini mushrooms, creamed Kennebec potatoes, pickled cranberries and a full service turkey carving station.

The Front Yard, Studio City – Spend a casual and intimate evening as if you were dining in your friend’s cozy backyard. The Front Yard, one of Studio City’s favorite restaurants, offers modern Californian fare and cocktails inside The Garland Hotel. For an affordable $55 for adults and $25 for children, The Front Yard will be offering an all you can eat buffet style dinner with menu items like an apple arugula salad, orange and maple brined turkey, Chilean sea bass, andouille sausage stuffing, and pumpkin cheesecake.

The Pikey, Hollywood – The Pikey’s 6th annual Thanksgiving day celebration and will be open for dinner until 2am. Perfect for late nighters! Chef Jack Hotchkin’s will be serving Thanksgiving-inspired creations. With specials of Slow Roasted Organic Free Range Turkey Beast with Turkey Leg Sausage, Baked Onion, Buttermilk Biscuits, Classic Green Bean Casserole and Turkey Neck Gravy or Deep Fried Turkey Leg with Corn Bread, Gindo’s Hot Sauce and Two Sumptuous Side Dishes. Chef Hotchin uses the best of the market’s seasonal fresh produce in designing his twists on British classics that pair brilliantly with The Pikey’s expertly mixed craft cocktails.

Saddle Peak Lodge, Malibu Canyon – This rustic mountain lodge In Malibu Canyon is a favorite of many Angelenos. If you haven’t been yet, there’s no better time than Thanksgiving to take part in their annual Thanksgiving day feast. Four courses for $105 for adults and $65 for children, most dishes are great for sharing. Just a few on offer: roasted butternut squash soup with cranberry relish, wild mixed mushroom agnolotti, roasted Diestel Farms turkey breast with braised thigh meat, and stuffing, plus roasted Skuna Bay salmon with campfire veggies gold squash, and eggplant.

Taix, Echo Park – The perfect option for East siders. This longtime favorite in Echo Park has a reputation for exceptional service, with three staffers celebrating half a century each at the restaurant. For Thanksgiving Day entrees will be $40 for adults. Dinner includes Roast Turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy, apple raisin stuffing, fresh roasted yams, vegetables, and cranberry sauce. Plus Hors d’Oeuvres escargot de bourgogne, baked French onion soup, and moules mariniere a la carte.

Taste on Melrose, West Hollywood – Taste on Melrose will be offering a delicious three-course prix fixe menu available 1pm to 8pm for just $45 per person. The menu will include family-style desserts and Thanksgiving favorites including an oven roasted turkey, a 3 cheese kale mac & cheese, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. The menu also features a blood orange & fennel salad, grilled salmon, and roasted Brussel sprouts.
