One great event this Friday night is Pride Night at The Original Farmers Market at The Grove. The evening promises live entertainment, bingo, and dancing under the stars, with a variety of sips and bites from vendors like Kaylin + Kaylin Pickles, Fritzi Coop, and Roxy and Jo’s Seafood. Another noteworthy event is the Whiskey Launch & Cigar Rolling Party at Tam O’Shanter on the same evening. Guests can indulge in whiskey tastings, witness live cigar rolling, and relish passed appetizers, all while experiencing an exclusive release of Tam O’Shanter’s 101-year whiskey barrel. Plus, on Sunday, Hotel Ziggy invites attendees to their Sunset Splash, a poolside party with DJ Pee Wee, Leisan, Mango & Ginger, and Vago providing the tunes, and refreshing drinks. Join the celebration of New Chinatown’s 85th anniversary, savor the neighborhood’s culinary delights, and dance the night away to the beats of KCRW DJs. Or head over to the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall where the Disney Pride in Concert takes place on June 24-25. The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles will enchant the audience with beloved Disney melodies, accompanied by a 25-piece orchestra and mesmerizing video projections. But don’t miss the Imagined Wests Exhibition Preview Day at The Autry Museum during the day on Saturday. Delve into the stories of the American West through various media and interactive activities, followed by a lively concert featuring Gaby Moreno. But one event I’m most excited about is happening at the Santa Monica Pier all weekend. The Santa Monica Pier 360 Beach Festival where you can watch beachside sports, listen to live music, and enjoy family-friendly activities under the sun.
