The Best Events & Things to Do This Weekend in Los Angeles | Fri. March 29 – Sun. April 1

It’s Easter Weekend in Los Angeles, and although it may be rainy and chilly all weekend, there are still plenty of special events and things to do to get you hopping all over town. First up, kick off your weekend with a tantalizing Grilled Cheese and Wine Pairing at Andrew’s Cheese Shop in Santa Monica on Friday, March 29th at 7:30 PM. Indulge in a mouthwatering experience as Andrew’s Cheese Shop unveils their latest culinary masterpiece – open-faced grilled cheeses expertly paired with unique wines, culminating in a decadent float using Elio Perrone’s Bigaro, a sweet blend of Moscato and Brachetto. If you’re craving a cultural extravaganza, head over to The Broad Museum on Saturday, March 30th at 8:00 PM for LA Intersections. Immerse yourself in the vibrant music and spoken word scenes that have emerged in the City of Angels, featuring iconic performers who have shaped Los Angeles culture across various genres. From punk to jazz to rap, this two-part festival-style series celebrates the diverse tapestry of artistic expression in LA. And for those craving a dash of eccentricity, don’t miss John Waters Easter 2024 at the whimsically campy Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Book a room, dine with the legendary John Waters and Ricki Lake, and join in the 35th Anniversary screening of the cult classic film HAIRSPRAY, complete with live commentary and a Q&A session.
