July 4th in Los Angeles is a busy day for us all! There are so many events to choose from all over the city. We love celebrating Independence Day here! From spectacular fireworks to block parties to live music to wine and beer festivals, here’s just a sliver of some of the places to be this weekend and on Monday.

4th of July Block Party at Grand Park
July 4, 2017 from 2 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
LOS ANGELES! #GO4THDTLA. Grand Park and The Music Center are where to celebrate together with music, food, and an incredible fireworks display launched from the civic center skyline. Grab the best friends, the whole family, and main squeezes and enjoy a bit of togetherness under the beautiful Angeleno sky.

Americafest at the Rose Bowl
Tuesday, July 4
With a summer full of events, the Rose Bowl Stadium is looking forward to hosting the 91st annual AmericaFest.It’s a whole day of family fun that culminates in the largest fireworks show in Southern California for over 90 years. There will be food, entertainment, crafts, exhibits and inflatable rides for the kids. This year they will once again showcase a world-renowned fireworks show and entertainment to remember. You won’t want to miss it!

An Old Fashioned Barn Dance & BBQ
Celebrate the Fourth of July at Theatricum Botanicum’s 3rd Annual Old Fashioned Barn Dance and Barbeque, and a family hoe-down from 11:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Activities include music, a barn dance, pie-eating contest, watermelon seed-spitting contest, cake walk, horseshoes, relay races, dunk bucket, family games and more. Barbeque and fixin’s, beer and wine available for purchase. Folk and country fun!

The Galaxy
The Los Angeles Galaxy takes on Real Salt Lake for the annual 4th of July Fireworks Soccer Extravaganza. Watch our five time MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy followed by stargazing in the sky with a fireworks display. Game starts at 7:30 p.m. Carson. $25-$150. All Ages. Event details.

Celebrate 4th of July with the fireworks display on the Westside! Spend the day in the Marina with a picnic in the park, enjoy a waterfront dinner with firework views, or hop aboard an observation cruise for a front-row seat to the show.

Hundreds of athletes will line the stage for their chance to be crowned Muscle Beach International Classic Champion. Categories included body building, figure, bikini, men & women’s physique, couples (Mixed Pairs) & vintage pinup (new category).

Pacific Palisades Parade
For 69 years, Pacific Palisades has been the place to celebrate the 4th of July.Begin your day with a 5k/10k cross-country run.  At 2 PM, our world-famous community parade is consistently one of the best places to show your patriotism in our big city. To finish the day, enjoy evening concerts, food trucks, and world famous fireworks.

The Queen Mary
It’s an “All-American” summer aboard the Queen Mary! Enjoy a whole day of family-friendly activities and live entertainment aboard the Queen Mary. There will be special historic tours and a patriotic theatrical movie in the Queen Mary Theatre and so much more. To end the night, the Queen Mary will present its signature fireworks spectacular filled with patriotic music capped by a special performance by The Pointer Sisters. Boat opens at 2 p.m., fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Seaside Lagoon
Celebrate Independence Day at the City of Redondo Beach 4th of July Fireworks at Seaside Lagoon! The community event offers a family-friendly atmosphere and a front row seat for this year’s Fireworks Spectacular. Enjoy all day supervised swimming and activities at the Seaside Lagoon featuring water slides, fountains and plenty of beach sand. Seating at the Seaside Lagoon is first come first served so arrive early with your beach blankets, chairs and small umbrellas. Making the day more special for the whole family are arts & crafts, giant inflatable slides, family friendly party and patriotic music from the Dee Jay, and guests can enjoy the special menu from the Ruby’s Diner window at the Lagoon.

Studio City Independence Day VIP Celebration
Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner, sampling stations featuring bites from local restaurants, beer, wine, cocktails and entertainment – all for the price of admission. The children’s section features face painting, caricature artists, airbrushed tattoos, picture opps with Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam and some new additions!
