Erewhon Natural Foods Opens in Venice

Natural food lovers around the West side can rejoice! Erewhon Natural Foods has opened their third Los Angeles outpost in Venice Beach.

Designed by Lucia Bartholomew and Cayley Lambur of architecture and design firm Electric Bowery, the impressive new space, which opened to long lines and loud fanfare on April 8, the Venice Erewhon has all the best of what you’ve come to expect from the company. As their tagline states, “If it’s here it’s good for you.”

Whether you’re in the market for a fresh squeezed juice, a grab and go lunch, a prepared family meal, or the freshest ingredients for a Bon Appétit inspired dinner party, Erewhon Venice is surprisingly easy to navigate thanks in large part to the compact space’s utilization of the open layout industrial design.

The scrumptious gluten free mac and cheese, toasted brussels sprouts, a delicious Asian chicken salad, and a coconut lentil soup are all highlights from Erewhon’s hot and cold bars. And, of course, there’s their much loved tonic and juice bar where they promise to, “bring your body back into balance.”

When I visited last weekend there was a lot of excitement in the air. It’s clear the neighborhood is thrilled to welcome Erewhon to the Venice community!
