Take a closer look at a select and exclusive group of celebrity real estate deals, including listings and sales by Cindy Crawford, Tyler Perry, Kendall Jenner, Ice-T, Faye Dunaway, Debbie Reynolds & more!

Tyler Perry Picks Up Glass-Walled Beverly Hills Mansion
Writer, producer, cross-dressing comedic actor and money minting film and television tycoon Tyler Perry needs another multi-million dollar high-maintenance mansion about as much as a pelican needs a chainsaw but property records suggest he’s nonetheless splashed out $14.5 million for a glass-walled architectural high in the mountains between Beverly Hills and Studio City. The flamboyant residence, which arguably gives off more than a subtle vibe of an upscale suburban office building, was long owned by billionaire aerospace entrepreneur and philanthropist Alfred E. Mann who passed at 90 in early 2016.

Photos: Ice-T’s Former Mansion From ‘MTV Cribs’ Is Now On The Market
Anyone who’s watched their share of MTV Cribs can tell you that the series hit its apex in its second season, when rapper Redman showed off his Staten Island duplex. It was striking because it was far removed from the excess flaunted by the likes of Jermaine Dupri—the doorbell to the home didn’t even work. It was such an outlier that some viewers have long maintained that Redman was just pulling a fast one on us (it turns out it was all real).

Oscar-winning actress Faye Dunaway has sold a pied-pied-à-terre in West Hollywood for $600,000, or $5,000 above her asking price of $595,000.
The 800-square-foot condo was extensively updated during Dunaway’s ownership. The one-bedroom, two-bathroom unit centers on an open kitchen outfitted with European hardware and a marble backsplash. A built-in bar area with a wine chiller sits behind the center island/breakfast bar.Other features of note include porcelain tile floors, glass-globe sconces and high ceilings. The living room, which is pre-wired for a movie projector, has glass doors that open to a private and screened patio.

Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber Pick Up Beverly Hills Flip From Ryan Tedder
While 16-year-old Kaia Gerber follows in her supermodel mother’s footsteps and stormed the runways at New York Fashion Week, her famous parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, were identified as the buyers who paid $11.625 million for a sexy contemporary in the trendy and tremendously expensive Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills listed at $12.75 million and sold by pop song writer/producer Ryan Tedder. Mister Tedder, co-founder and frontman for the band OneRepublic and a prolific songwriter who’s penned hit songs for pop cynosures like Madonna, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Adele, purchased the property as an investment in late 2014 for $7.485 million from powerhouse movie producer Gregory Goodman (“8 Mile,” “Captain Phillips”) and his garden-designer husband Paul Langh.

Greta Grossman’s glassy Beverly Hills home is for sale for $4.3M
The personal residence of one of Los Angeles’s most important female architects is returning to the market for $4.295 million. Greta Grossman, who hailed from Sweden, is perhaps best remembered for her cool Grasshopper Lamp (which you can buy today from Design Within Reach for $939)—but she has also been described as “one of modernism’s unsung heroes.” For the two decades from 1940 to 1960, she was the only woman architect in the city of Los Angeles to own an independent practice, according to the Los Angeles Conservancy. She built 14 residences here, often on spec, creating homes that “were defined by their diminutive scale and lightness of form and were frequently balanced perfectly on the edge of a hillside.”

Kendall Jenner Looks to Sell Wilshire Corridor Condo and Sunset Strip Contemporary
Though there have been unconfirmed reports she’s made an off-market deal to sell her glassy, celeb-pedigreed contemporary residence above L.A.’s Sunset Strip — a bit more on that in a minute — in-demand fashion model and social media superstar Kendall Jenner still owns her starter condo in a luxury high-rise along L.A.’s cosmopolitan Wilshire Corridor that she’s got up for sale at $1.6 million.

Debbie Reynolds’ family ranch and dance studio to hit the auction block in October
The longtime family ranch and a North Hollywood dance studio of late singer-actress Debbie Reynolds will be among property up for auction next month. The ranch-estate in Creston, Calif., had been offered for sale before Reynolds’ death last year for $4.8 million but was taken off the market in June. The studio on Lankershim Boulevard is for sale, with an asking price of $6.15 million. Both will hit the auction block Oct. 7-8 in Los Angeles as part of the Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds personal property collection, according to auction house Profiles in History. Owned by Reynolds for more than two decades, the 44-acre ranch comprises a main house, a guesthouse, a caretaker’s cottage, an art studio and a barn. A 10,000-square-foot support building with metal and stage workshops and a 6,000-square-foot film and television production studio are among other structures on the estate.

Tig Notaro Picks Up Los Angeles Traditional Home
Stand-up comedian-actress Tig Notaro, who had a recurring role on the acclaimed series “Transparent” and currently stars in the semi-autobiographical dark comedy “One Mississippi,” has upgraded her residential circumstances with the just shy of $2.5 million purchase of a family-size traditional on a pine- and palm tree-lined street in the low-key but high-priced Larchmont Village area of Los Angeles. The fully remodeled two-story residence, equipped with updated heating, electrical and plumbing systems plus what listing details describe as the “ultimate security system,” has five bedrooms and four bathrooms in just over 3,100 square feet.
