Tupac Shakur’s last home hits the market for $2.66M
Legendary rapper and actor Tupac Shakur’s final home hit the market at 2.659 million. The nearly 6,000 square foot, six bedroom mansion is in Woodland Hills / Calabasas. Tupac lived at the house from 1995 until the time of his death in 1996. A 1997 Vanity Fair profile of the artist noted that the residence, in which Shakur lived with his fiancée Kidada Jones (daughter of music powerhouse Quincy Jones) was always filled with visiting members of Shakur’s extended family and “any friend who needed a bed.”
The home has been recently been updated by the current owner, at a cost of around $1 million and lyrics from one of Tupac’s final songs are carved into the stone driveway, “Outlawz, Let no man separate what we create.”

Kristen Wiig of “Saturday Night Live” & “Bridesmaids” fame sells her home in Los Feliz for $2 million.
Who knew Kristen Wiig used to be essentially a neighbor of the Sotheby’s Los Feliz office? Wiig bought the swanky property with incredible views four years ago for $1.764 million. The multilevel home, built in 1949, was designed with the Southern California indoor-outdoor lifestyle in mind – and what home today isn’t? There’s an outdoor shower and glass pocket walls that open to terraces on each floor. Outdoor living areas create some 2,500 square feet of space — nearly as much as the home’s 2,719-square-foot interior. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a powder room.

Spanish Colonial-style house where Howard Hughes crashed his plane is for sale for $14.45M
You may remember the crash from Martin Scorsese’s film The Aviator. Hughes survived, of course. Here’s the scene:

It’s been thoroughly updated with a shiny new kitchen, a gorgeous hand-painted ceiling in the living room, a statement fireplace with original details. The home was built in 1926 by architect Wallace Neff. On July 7, 1946 Howard Hughes was flying his XF-11 airplane and ran into complications before making an emergency landing at the Los Angeles Country Club and crashed into the garage and bedroom of the house. Luckily, the home’s then owners were not hurt.

Matthew Perry puts his sexy Bird Streets pad on the market for $13.5 million
Perry, best known for his role on the sitcom “Friends,” has been spending less time on the West Coast since his playwriting debut, “The End of Longing,” opened last year in London. Fire features and reflecting pools enhance the outdoor living space. Clear-through views extend from downtown L.A. to the ocean. Entered through an atrium courtyard, the 3,821 square feet of open-plan space include a living room with a fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, three bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The master suite has a wall of glass that leads directly outdoors. The home theater sits beneath the house and has 2-inch-thick windows that look into the pool. Perry ushered in a new wave of celebrity activity in the neighborhood, known for its use of bird names for streets, six years ago when he bought the property for $8.65 million. The 47-year-old has also owned homes in trendy L.A-area spots such as the Sierra Towers, the Outpost Estates neighborhood and and Malibu’s gated Serra Retreat.
