Take a closer look at a select and exclusive group of celebrity real estate deals including the new homes of stars Ben Affleck, Riley  Keough, Dr. Dre, Hill Harper, and Tuesday Weld plus the listings of Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley, Anna Faris, Sia, Ellen Pompeo, Mel B., and more! Enjoy!

Actress Anna Faris selling her muted midcentury house in the Hills for $2.5M
Actress and podcaster Anna Faris has a pretty laid back house for a wacky, raunchy comedian. Faris has owned this house east of Laurel Canyon since 2005—she shared the house with then-husband Chris Pratt. (Pratt filed for divorce in December.) Built in 1950, the three-bedroom residence has been updated with high-end stainless steel kitchen appliances and granite counters. It features hardwood floors and large walls of glass. The backyard is ringed in landscaping and holds a pool and bocce ball court.

Riley Keough Picks Up Tudor Cottage in L.A.
Showbiz scion, fashion model and in-demand actress Riley Keough, eldest grandchild of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, soon to be seen in the upcoming Lars von Trier thriller “The House That Jack Built,” has set down some real estate roots, so swears always reliable real estate snitch Yolanda Yakketyyak. Keough and Australian stuntman husband Ben Smith-Peterson recently paid slightly more than $1.3 million for a renovated two-bedroom and two-bathroom 1920s Tudor cottage near L.A.’s trendy Silver Lake.

Singer-songwriter Sia lists cozy Echo Park bungalow for $849,000
Australian singer-songwriter Sia Furler is once again looking to change up her real estate portfolio, listing an Echo Park bungalow for sale at $849,000. Three years ago she sold an unusual A.F. Leicht-designed house in Los Feliz and bought a live-work compound in Toluca Lake. The Echo Park house sits above the street and has brick stairs that lead to a covered front porch. Built in 1936, the home has 863 square feet of living space, two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Morena Baccarin Sells Home Above Silver Lake
Brazilian-born and New York City-raised “Homeland” and “Deadpool” actress Morena Baccarin has sold a restored and updated late-1930s hilltop traditional high in the hipster-chic hills between Los Angeles’ Silver Lake and Echo Park neighborhoods for just under $2.1 million, a smidgen above its not quite $2 million asking price. Property records show the new owner is “Days of Our Lives” actor Blake Berris and writer-actress Alexandra McGuinness, daughter of former U2 manager Paul McGuinness. Baccarin, married last year to her “Gotham” co-star Ben McKenzie, bought the property in June 2012 for almost $1.3 million.

Dr. Dre picks up a custom estate and studio in Calabasas for $4.9 million
Dr. Dre has gone shopping in Calabasas, buying a custom home in a gated community for $4.9 million. The Mediterranean-style estate, which dates to 1997, has close to 9,400 square feet of living space, a game room, a snazzy home theater and a potential work space for the hip-hop mogul: an acoustically engineered studio/office. A total of six bedrooms and 5.75 bathrooms includes a large master suite with a fireplace. The three-quarter-acre lot contains grassy fields, a free-form swimming pool and spa, a fire pit and a barbecue center. Elsewhere in the grounds is a lighted and fenced tennis/sports court. Views from the property take in unobstructed mountain views.

Mel B’s Scary Nice L.A. Pad Relisted With Price Cut to $7.5M
Mel B’s scary nice Los Angeles home has been relisted with another price cut. The Spice Girl initially put the home on the market after splitting from her husband, Stephen Belafonte, early last year. The divorce was finalized in December. The home, which is now priced at $7.5 million, was listed last March for $9 million. No wannabe buyers stepped forward, and the price was dropped by a million dollars a month later. With no sale, it was eventually taken off the market until this week.

Ben Affleck Snags Stately $19 Million Pacific Palisades Mansion
Word on the celebrity real estate street, via gossip juggernaut X17, is that Ben Affleck is in escrow and about to seal the deal on a brand spanking new, never lived in East Coast style mansion in Pacific Palisades, Calif., first listed at $20.5 million and last listed with a $19.25 million price tag. The stately, black-shuttered, white brick residence sits behind gates on not-quite one-third of an acre in the tony Riviera neighborhood where it desirably backs up to but doesn’t sit high enough to overlook the Riviera Country Club with seven bedrooms and six full and two half bathrooms in 12,853-square-feet plus an approximately 600-square-foot poolside guesthouse.

Actor Hill Harper lands an ocean-view estate in Malibu for $4.1 million
Television, film and stage actor Hill Harper has bought a gated estate in Malibu for $4.1 million. The purchase was made through a corporate entity, public records show. Found at the end of a long driveway that ends at a circular motor court, the Spanish-style estate encompasses slightly more than an acre of grounds overlooking Broad Beach. The 1956-built house includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms and nearly 3,800 square feet of living space. Walls of windows bring ocean views into the living and dining area. The family room, which has vaulted and beamed ceilings, adjoins the kitchen.

Tuesday Weld Lands in the Hollywood Hills
Tuesday Weld, nominated for an Oscar in 1978 for her co-starring role in “Looking for Mr. Goodbar,” has splashed out almost $1.8 million for a desirably private home in the Cahuenga Pass area of the Hollywood Hills. Invisible from the street and down a long driveway, the single-story, renovated ranch-style residence has four bedrooms and three bathrooms in just under 2,000 square feet.

For Ellen Pompeo, this 1920s Spanish villa in Hollywood Hills is history
Ellen Pompeo, who stars on “Grey’s Anatomy,” is asking $2.795 million for a 1920s Spanish-style villa in the Hollywood Hills. In case you are wondering, that’s just a rounding error in her checkbook. In January, the highly paid actress signed a $20-million contract with ABC. Set above the street on a nearly quarter-acre elevated lot, the house retains its 1923 character with graceful arches, balconies, columns and a red tile roof. Views take in the surrounding city and hillsides.

Beverly Hills home of actress-writer Renée Taylor seeks $8.6 million
The longtime Beverly Hills home of actress-writer Renée Taylor and her late husband, actor-playwright Joseph Bologna, is for sale at $8.6 million. Set on a third of an acre, the 1926 Tudor Revival was once occupied by Shirley Temple’s mother-in-law and often visited by Temple and her first husband, John Agar. Taylor was attracted to the home’s garden when she and Bologna bought the property in 1975. She later spent two years renovating the property to replicate parts of celebrity homes and places that she admired. The inspired design details include an exact replica of actress Greer Garson’s bathroom from her former Bel-Air home and dining room chairs favored by Barbra Streisand.

Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley List Northern California Equestrian Estate
David E. Kelley and Michelle Pfeiffer, married a quarter of a century and, hence, one of Hollywood’s more unusually enduring pairs, are asking $29.5 million for their sprawling estate in the rustic and wildly prosperous unincorporated Northern California community of Woodside, about 35 miles south of San Francisco. As our celebrity real estate compatriot Yolanda Yakketyyak reported, the Hollywood power couple, who unsurprisingly maintain a much more modestly proportioned if still prodigiously pricey pied-a-terre in L.A.’s Pacific Palisades, purchased the two parcels that comprise the 8.67-acre spread in two separate transactions about four years apart, the first in 2004 and the second in 2008, for a combined cost of $20.6 million.

Home sale begins to take shape for filmmaker Guillermo del Toro
Director Guillermo del Toro is on a hot streak. On the heels of the best picture win for “The Shape of Water” at the Academy Awards, the seasoned director is closing in on a home sale in Agoura Hills. His two-story home in the area is currently listed pending but still accepting backup offers, according to the MLS. The asking price is $2.195 million. The cul-de-sac residence sits on roughly half an acre and opens to a formal entry. Within the 5,700-square-foot floor plan, there’s a two-story living room, a center-island kitchen, a formal dining room and a breakfast nook.

Judd Hirsch Buys Home in Hills of Studio City
Industry award-laden veteran actor Judd Hirsch, now in his 80s and starring as a grumpily anachronistic doughnut shop owner on the CBS sitcom “Superior Donuts,” has shelled out a bit less than $1.6 million for a well-maintained if decoratively dated residence above Laurel Canyon in the affluent hills of Studio City, Calif. Built in the 1960s on just over one-third of an acre with a distinctive, high-pitched A-frame roofline, the vaguely chalet-style residence is mostly obscured behind a high wall and a towering line of trees with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in a smidgen more than 2,400 square feet.
